The Great Gummi Battle of the Carribean « Thread Started on Apr 1, 2007, 2:34am »
The Candyman was steadily making his mark in his conquest to sweet world order. Having temporarily separated himself from the brotherhood of not niceness, he set off in search of the chaos cube and global candy domination. He somehow wound up at a strange little port where there were people speaking of "Gummi Ships". Intrigued, he laughed at the ridiculousness of the ships when he learned they were made of wood and Iron. He destroyed each and every one of the ships with his sugar army and sent all of the crew to a sugary grave. He then decided to show the world what a real gummi ship was like, and, using his powers, created a ship almost entirely made of gummi (with some other types of candy to help).
The hull, deck, and bulk of the ship was gummi and floated wonderfully upon the sea due to built in air pockets within. The mast was a giant peppermint stick and the sails a special kind of taffy that stretched ever so slightly but was near to impossible to break. He stood at the helm, steering the ship with a wheel of licorice. His traditional read-and-white-striped garb was replaced by an array of candy based "pirate" clothes with a gummi-made hat, a candy cane hook, a peppermint stick peg leg, and a gummi parrot upon his shoulder to boot. His crew consisted of some of his most loyal minions: General Gumdrops was now promoted to First Mate Gumdrops, the ever silent Black Licorice Ninja held watch, and an assortment of other gummi and candy based crew manned the ship.
And so they set off, the Candyman would have his way and find that cube. He would have his sugary dominance. They began to enter warmer waters of a more crystal blue in color. They had already ransacked several other ships searching for the cube and whatever else they could make use of. So it would be now, as The Candyman spotted another ship upon the horizon. It was large and ghostly, the black sails towering above it symbolizing death. But that wouldn't stop the Candyman, absolutely not. A smile spread across with a look at the ship and when he called out, "First mate Gumdrops!" The little gingerbread man walked up; his foot had been newly constructed into a peg leg and an eyepatch of cotton candy adorned his face. "Full Speed Ahead!" No ship could outrun the swift speed of candy!
Following his order, the little gingerbread man ran among the crew, occasionally beating people with a large candy "cane" he was carrying, screaming in a squeaky voice at the top of his lungs, "YOU HEARD THE MAN! HOP TO IT! DON'T MAKE ME STICK YOUR FACES IN THE OIL AGAIN!!!" They were in swift pursuit of the Black-Sailed ship.

Jack looked through his telescope making sure it was ok to keep going and nothing was going to stop him. After looking through it for a couple minutes he put it down taking our his compass. I know what I want...I know what I want....I know what I want...Jack repeated to himself silently. He opened up his compass, but instead of the needle staying in one direction it spun around. Slamming it shut, he put it away and took his telescope back out looking to the back of him now. He noticed a ship not too far away from the Black Pearl. As he tried to look closer at the ship, it seemed to look like it was made out of candy.
"I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of dirt! And guess what's inside it?" "Now, where is that monkey? I need to shoot something" "Watch the boat, Mind the tide, and Don't touch my Dirt!"

The Candyman adorned his ship with glass candy propellers using his powers, and they swiftly moved ahead with a sudden lurch. There was a possibility that this ship could have something of value; perhaps information of the chaos cube. It would be his! They effortlessly caught up with the ship in seconds, and Candyman called once more for his first-mate. "Gumdrops! Fire at will!"
"FIRE!!!" the squeaky gingerbread man screamed at the top of his lungs. Dozens of gummy cannons emerged from the side of the ship, and they simultaneously began firing. The Candyman cackled as the black-sailed ship was pelted by a barrage of giant malted milk balls and jawbreakers the size of cannon balls.
"Candy shall reign supreme!!!" he called, his crew raising thir flag as a sign of battle. It had a peppermint on it.

Jack squinted his eyes as he saw something coming his way. It was the size of a canon ball, but not the color. As it came closer, Jack's eyes got bigger. The ball of some sort was about to hit him but he ducked in time. One of his crew members behind him was hit in the stomach by the object and thrown out of the ship on the other side. Jack stood back up trying to come up with a plan. Well that was strange...He mumbled to himself. Why are you all standing there staring? Get down there and fire back! Jack yelled at his crew who were all shocked at what just happened.

KC had to be woken up again; she had been staring at the giant discolored ship. Captain Jack's command woke her up, and she immediately ran below deck, hoping the others would follow her and help her load and fire the cannons....of BLACK, NORMAL, cannonballs.

Was that a...jawbreaker? A strange colored ship was now firing what appeared to be...candy... at the ship. What on Earth was happening to this world? Everything and everyone had gone mad - nothing made sense anymore. Was this really all the result of the chaos cube? Following Jack's order, he followed KC down below, pulling back a cannon to prepare to load it.

Jack walked down below making sure they were loading the canons and not fooling around. Faster! We're being attacked by...things. We need to attack back, quickly! Jack watched as everyone loaded the canons. Once they were done and ready to fire Jack yelled, FIRE!! He then walked back up. He forgot no one was steering the ship. As he made it back up he looked back over where the the other ship was. It was now closer and once their canon balls hit it, they seemed to bounce back. Jack once again ducked, before one of his own canon balls hit him. What the..He popped back up trying to look at the ship. It almost looked like it was made of candy.

REBOUND!! KC yelled desperately, having difficulty finding a short word to describe what was happening as a warning. The cannonballs were bouncing back! This clearly was not a normal ship...it couldn't be taken down with normal weaponry. She looked over a Tobias, who was at a neighboring cannon, to see if he had any speck of understanding on his face. She could detect none.

One of the rebounding cannonballs smashed right through the ship next to Tobias just as KC yelled about them. "Aim upward!" he yelled back, repositioning the cannon so it fired up high. The cannon fired with a blast, sending the ball almost vertically. Eventually it came straight down on top of the ship, at least insuring it would come bouncing back if it did anything at all.

Jack watched as a couple canon balls went flying in the air toward the ship. If it bounces off the side, don't they think it'll bounce off the top too? Jack said to himself quietly. As soon as the canon ball hit the deck of that ship, it bounced right back up. Great, now what do we do? Jack thought about it for a while, then had an idea. He ran back down leaving someone else to steer the ship Crew! Jack yelled so everyone would look in his direction. Do we have anything that we can shoot at them that will stay on fire? Hoping everyone got was he was thinking, he waited for a response.

"Fools! Nobody can defeat the all powerful might of candy!" The Candyman left out a cackle of laughter as their pathetic cannonballs bounced off of his gummi ship. "Bring me my sugar megaphone!" One of his gummi crew members hobbled up holding what appeared to be an ordinary megaphone, except it was entirely made from sugar. He held it up and turned it on, calling out to the black sailed ship. "Foolish ship! You will surrender to me any and all information regarding the chaos cube you have or I will sink your ship to the sugary depths!" He would wait only a few minutes before continuing his assault. In the meantime he would prepare: he set down his megaphone for the moment and turned back to his crew, calling out "Prepare to board!"

We have plenty that could stay on fire, as long as it is dry...the question is whether or not we can launch it out of a cannon....She paused. Captain, why fire, exactly?

Crew! I need anything that can light on fire and stay lit when we shoot it. Jack Sparrow looked at all of them who just stared back puzzled. What are you waiting for?! Now! He watched as they all ran in different directions gathering items to light on fire. He then turned facing KC. Candy melts. That ship is made of candy. We set fire to it, it melts.
